Mobile DJs can now add a double dose of flash to their lighting setups and create high-tech visuals with ease and economy. American DJ has introduced the Flash Duo, a double-ball effect that both rotates and strobes, like two effects in one.

The Flash Duo is one of American DJís StarTec series of inexpensive effects specifically designed for the working mobile DJ. Providing great quality at a price that wonít crash the checking account, the StarTec series gives mobile DJs the power to create professional-looking light shows comparable to those produced in todayís glamorous dance clubs.

The Flash Duo generates a total of 104 white beams that spin and flash to create perpetual lighting action. Once this two-headed monster really gets going, its bright light will flood the room and dazzle the entire party with brilliant illumination and scintillating visual excitement.

The Flash Duoís double-ball design makes it a close relative of American DJís popular Roto-Balls, another powerful StarTec effect. Both effects can be set to rotate, but only the Flash Duo features strobing function. And while Roto-Balls emit bright multi-colored light, the Flash Duo cuts razor-sharp white beams instead.

Mobile DJs can use the Flash Duoís variable speed control knob to adjust the strobe rate on the fly. This gives the DJ the option of setting a relatively low strobe rate for slow-dancing, a medium setting for disco and í70s music, or a hyperactive pulse for trippy techno.
