| NEWSLETTER | Fire Burst DMX Press ReleaseNow DJs and clubs can fire up crowds on the dance floor, without burnin down the house. American DJ has introduced the Fire Burst DMX, a DMX-controlled simulated flame-projecting effect thats infernal enough to fool the devil himself. A high-output fixture, the Fire Burst DMX uses a fiery bright 150-watt lamp to project incredibly real-looking ìflamesî onto walls, floors, ceilings or any other flat surfaces within the room. These virtual flames climb the walls and lick at dancing feet, creating a red-hot atmosphere that promotes passionate and devilish behavior among partygoers and club patrons. ìThe Fire Burst DMX represents a new twist in simulated flame effects,î said Scott Davies, General Manager of the American DJ Group of Companies. ìUnlike the 3-D-type flame effects that create an image of fire coming out of a bowl, the Fire Burst DMX actually projects flame-like patterns onto a rooms surfaces. This creates the illusion that the walls themselves are burning, for a really dramatic and different club effect.î With its searing 150-watt lamp, the Fire Burst DMX burns so brightly, any nightclub will be instantly transformed into a towering inferno. Adding a little fog to the scene will greatly enhance the illusion of flames and create a smoky, steamy ambience. In addition to turning any club into a hot nightspot, the Fire Burst DMX is ideal for creating a devilish aura at Halloween parties and haunted houses. The dancing flames also make a great backdrop for musicians performances and stage productions. A full-focusing fixture, the Fire Burst DMX comes equipped with three DMX channels that give operators control over: flame speed (flickering); rotational direction of flame pattern; and dimming (from 0-to-100 percent). Speed and rotation can also be adjusted without a DMX controller via dipswitches conveniently located on the Fire Burst DMX unit. Users can control blackout by using an optional Mini/C controller, sold separately. The Fire Burst DMX can also be operated in sound-active mode without a controller, moving to the music via its own built-in programs. An audio-sensitivity knob lets users control the intensity of its response to the beat of the music. Equipped with a large cooling fan, the Fire Burst DMX can be run continuously all night long without any worries about overheating. It is one of a new generation of affordable American DJ lighting fixtures in which theres no on-off duty cycle required. Another user convenience is circuit-breaker protection, which eliminates the need to change fuses. The Fire Burst DMX comes with a 15-volt, 150-watt ZB-EFR lamp. The unit measures 14.75îL x 15îW x 9.75îH and weighs only 16 lbs. A hanging bracket is provided for quick installation
